Job summary

Powermatic in Manitowoc, WI is seeking an Operator 3, Warehouse to move products efficiently and safely through the supply chain. This hands-on role manages inbound and outbound materials, space optimization, and large-scale shipping of heavy industrial machinery.

You’ll support continuous improvement, safety, and teamwork across departments, with opportunities to lead in the absence of a Warehouse Lead. A high school diploma or GED and related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent, required.
• 1 year post-high school education and/or one year of experience in related field, preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of SAP, including RF devices if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate LTL trucks, flatbeds, receiving, returns, freight cell area & projects.
• Ensure optimal utilization of space through warehouse consolidation.
• Provide efficient product storage and ensure inbound/outbound shipments are accurate.
• Assist in performing cycle counts and assuring inventory accuracy.
• Lead in absence of Warehouse Lead and support multiple departments.
• Move machinery with material handling equipment in a safe manner.
• Safely operate overhead cranes for lifting and positioning heavy machinery.
• Prepare and secure large machines for transport on flatbeds per DOT/OSHA rules.
• Unload containers and inspect product for damage and markings.
• Stock inventory and produce daily counts with high accuracy.
