Wesco seeks a Supervisor - Operations to oversee warehouse departments (receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and light assembly) and lead a team of associates. You will train, coach, and manage direct reports while ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to company policies.

You will contribute to process improvements and maintain accurate records. Reporting to a Manager or Senior Manager Operations, you will drive performance, meet customer requirements, and support continuous improvement

Competenze

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• 3 years warehouse and distribution operations experience.
• 1 year experience leading warehouse associates.
• Knowledge of inventory control processes.
• Ability to operate a forklift or obtain a forklift certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn and use business planning systems.
• Resolve problems in a timely manner under stressful situations.

• Coordinate employee work assignments to achieve inbound and outbound service requirements.
• Direct achievement of performance objectives related to productivity, quality, service, and safety.
• Monitor workflow, work completed, error rates and related metrics and take corrective action.
• Ensure procedures are observed, implemented, and enforced.
• Confirm quality and inspection process is accurate and excess costs are eliminated.
• Establish and monitors performance standards for warehouse functions, including pick, pack, and ship.
• Process returned merchandise.
• Maintain accurate time, attendance, and performance management records.
• Maintain positive employee relations and morale.
• Recommend performance management actions.
• Assist in developing and documenting warehouse processes.
• Develop and implements training certification programs and ensures warehouse employees receive training.
