Job summary

Wesco is seeking a Supervisor - Operations to oversee multiple warehouse departments including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and light assembly. The role requires coaching, scheduling, and complying with safety and company policies while meeting customer requirements.

Strong leadership and process improvement skills are essential. You will report to a Manager or Senior Manager Operations and may supervise 2+ associates, with a focus on developing efficient workflows and accurate records

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for coaching and teamwork.
• Proven time management and ability to meet workload targets.
• Detail oriented with accuracy in records and processes.
• Experience using basic business planning systems or equivalent software.
• Ability to resolve problems promptly in stressed situations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate employee work assignments to meet inbound and outbound service requirements.
• Direct achievement of performance objectives for productivity, quality, service, and safety.
• Monitor workflow and metrics; take corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure procedures are observed and enforced across the team.
• Maintain time, attendance and performance records; manage relations.
• Develop and document warehouse processes and training programs.
• Establish and monitor performance standards for pick, pack and ship.
• Process returned merchandise and housekeeping tasks.
