Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Specialist, Warehouse Operations to train new and experienced associates on safety and quality control procedures, along with equipment and standard tasks for daily assignments.

The role supports efficient flow from vendor receipt to shipment to internal and external customers, leading trainings for new hires and assessing early performance for proficiency and problem areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 1-2 years related pharmaceutical warehousing experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to manage weight up to 75 pounds.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office; willing to obtain DOT and IATA certs within 3 months.
• Forklift experience preferred; willing to obtain PIT authorization within 3 months.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Train new warehouse employees on daily operations, safety and equipment.
• Shadow new employees to assess performance and provide on-the-job guidance.
• Complete daily warehouse tasks such as receiving or picking materials.
• Prepare shipping documents using FedEx or other software.
• Perform surveys and wipe testing to determine Transport Index for outbound shipments.
• Participate in inventory cycle counting and record transactions in the system.
• Report errors promptly and maintain regulatory training requirements.
• Demonstrate basic material handling, packaging and warehouse equipment skills.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
