Job summary

Custom Goods LLC is seeking an Operations Lead to coordinate warehouse activities, leading teams responsible for lifting, transporting, storing and loading materials using conveyors, forklifts or by hand. The role reports to the Operations Supervisor/Manager and emphasizes safety, efficiency and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and two years’ related experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Inspires the trust of others and works with integrity and ethics.
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Directs, coordinates and oversees warehouse personnel to ensure production, quality, sanitation and customer service standards.
• Ensures daily forklift safety inspections and reports any deviations to supervisor/manager.
• Maintains equipment according to company standards.
• Confers with management to coordinate flow of product and ensure safety precautions are followed.
• Enforces schedules and estimated labor hours required for daily job completion.
• Reports compliance of assigned teams in work areas to operational standards and initiatives.
• Participates in Kaizen activities to improve operational aspects.
• Performs duties of supervised workers when required and other duties as assigned.
• Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
