Job summary

BlueLinx Holdings Inc. seeks a motivated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations, ensure quality control, and uphold safety standards at our Richmond, VA facility.

You will optimize workflows, manage inventory, and lead a high‑performing team to meet productivity goals. Required: 4+ years in warehousing logistics, supervisory experience preferred, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of logistics experience in a warehousing environment (1+ year of supervisory experience preferred).
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and safety compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant logistics tools.
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma and project management (a plus!).

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping
• Ensure error-free order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and compliance with safety regulations
• Motivate and coach a team to meet productivity and performance goals
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery and material handling processes
• Manage maintenance of warehouse equipment, fleet, and facilities
• Develop and uphold safety programs, adhering to OSHA and DOT regulations
