Job summary

PCI Pharma Services in Rockford, IL is hiring a Lead, Warehouse for the 3rd shift to support the warehouse supervisor. You will direct the team in staging, shipping/receiving, and movement of materials across planning, production, and maintenance.

Essential duties include prioritizing workloads, enforcing SOPs, 5S safety, and training staff on forklift and warehouse practices, with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills required.
• Ability to perform basic computer tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize material handler workload.
• Promotes TEAM attitude between shifts, employees and depts.
• Provide direction to team members in all areas of the warehouse; staging of work orders, shipping and receiving, transportation and other duties assigned by Supervisor.
• Accurately record, both manually and electronically, the movement of material.
• Must be familiar with SOPs dealing with inventory, receiving, shipping.
• Participates in 5S activities and safety programs.
• Assist in training and retraining warehouse staff (e.g., forklift use, SOPs).
• Writes warehouse CGMP investigations.
• Monitors and enforces safe work practices.
• Coordinates movement of released components.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards.
