Job summary

Penske Logistics seeks an Operations Supervisor in Groveport, OH to provide operational leadership at a single location, guiding hourly staff to meet customer requirements while aligning with Penske goals. Responsibilities include supervising loading/unloading, cross-docking, dispatch, and ensuring safety and compliance.

Shift is Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–3:00 PM with pre-shift presence; flexibility during peak seasons and holidays.

Qualifications

• 2 - 4 years related functional experience.
• Strong written/oral communication skills are required.
• Must demonstrate ownership & responsibility to run the operation with urgency.
• Must connect and build rapport with associates and external customers at all levels.
• Must have time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to drive process improvement and lead change.
• Experience with inventory management system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team to meet customer objectives.
• Oversee staffing, training, and performance standards.
• Assist in hiring decisions and conduct coaching.
• Manage attendance, productivity, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Ensure safety compliance and operational accuracy.
