DSG Supply in Sioux Falls, SD seeks a 2nd Shift Warehouse Assistant Manager. This full-time, salaried role supervises daily warehouse operations, directs a small team of up to five, enforces safety, and collaborates with the Warehouse/Branch Manager to boost productivity.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably with supervisory duties.
• Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lead and motivate a small team of up to five employees.
• Safety training on material handling and forklift driving.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient workflow and timely task completion.
• Directly supervise up to five warehouse employees and conduct performance reviews.
• Provide training, coaching, and support to enhance performance and development.
• Engage direct reports, understand career goals, and facilitate upskilling opportunities.
• Lead hiring discussions, interview candidates, and make recommendations.
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges and act as point of contact for issues.
• Recommend measures to improve warehouse efficiency and working conditions.
• Ensure tools and equipment are available and in good condition; report issues.
• Provide courteous, prompt service to customers and uphold company procedures.
