Job summary

Graybar is hiring a Warehouse Leader to guide branch warehouse operations, including logistics, inventory, safety, and equipment utilization. You will also handle occasional delivery driver duties as part of the role.

You will lead teams handling loading, unloading, picking, packing, shipping and receiving, while ensuring accurate shipping documents and compliance with DOT regulations. Strong leadership and SAP knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in a supervisory warehouse role.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to lift and move inventory weighing up to 70 pounds.
• Experience with SAP and warehouse equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Lead activities of employees engaged in loading, unloading, selecting, packing, shipping, receiving and transportation of merchandise.
• Supervise incoming and outgoing shipment activity; ensure efficient, accurate and timely customer service.
• Perform physical requirements to lift and move inventory; operate warehouse equipment safely.
• Maintain the warehouse in a clean, safe state and conduct daily safety inspections.
• Ensure security of merchandise, prevent loss, and maintain cycle counts accuracy.
• Determine routing and load limits; inspect loading operations and direct shipment movements.
• Prepare bills of lading and post shipping charges for unfilled orders.
• Adhere to DOT regulations and hazardous material shipping; participate in Warehouse Steering Committee.
