Job summary

Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is seeking a Storekeeper for the Phoenix State Prison Complex to supervise the warehouse and manage stock, receiving, storage and distribution of materials, supplies and equipment.

The role requires maintaining inventory, preparing documents, training staff including inmates, and ensuring compliance with safety and procurement procedures inside a secure facility. Work location is ASPC Phoenix; the position closes Oct 7, 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience with storekeeping/warehousing practices including shipping, receiving and inventory control.
• Knowledge of hazardous materials storage requirements.
• Ability to use personal computer and software applications.
• Familiarity with state procurement procedures and warehouse safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain stock levels.
• Verify items received and prepare distribution documents.
• Update the inventory control system.
• Recommend quantities to maintain restocking levels.
• Train, supervise and evaluate staff, including inmates.
• Stock shelves, rotate items and stage items for delivery.
• Prepare reports on supply usage and projected needs.
• Prepare purchasing/distribution documents.
• Drive on state business.
• Perform other duties as appropriate.
