Job summary

The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) seeks a Physical Plant Supervisor I to lead maintenance and construction efforts at Arizona State Prison Complex - Willcox. You will plan, direct, and review work by staff and inmate crews to maintain facilities and ensure safe, compliant operations.

Responsibilities include establishing preventive maintenance programs, preparing cost estimates, supervising trades, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising staff and inmate crews.
• Ability to plan preventive maintenance programs.
• Experience with building maintenance and construction.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety practices.
• Strong supervisory and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, plans, and directs the activities of subordinates and/or inmate crews.
• Establishes and carries out preventive maintenance schedules on all equipment and facilities.
• Calculates cost estimates for maintenance/construction projects within budget.
• Maintains records on equipment, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Performs maintenance and construction duties on all facility buildings and equipment.
