McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Supervisor to manage an assigned area, department, or shift within the warehouse. You will ensure staffing, training, tools, and processes meet productivity, safety, and quality goals to satisfy customer orders.

The role requires guiding the team, coordinating with leadership, and enforcing procedures to minimize costs while maximizing value for customers. Expect to operate in dynamic conditions with potential overtime and shift variations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2 years distribution warehouse experience.
• Experience leading large numbers of warehouse staff.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Read, write, and understand English at a work level.

Responsibilities

• Direct and motivate teammates.
• Communicate company and division information to teammates.
• Address and follow-up on teammate concerns, questions and problems.
• Facilitate communication within the warehouse leadership team and with teammates.
• Meet productivity, order quality, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Create and maintain schedules and job assignments.
• Maintain departmental paperwork and records.
• Provide training and coaching for teammates.
• Enforce company policies and safety procedures.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.
• Be flexible with shifts and handle weekend work as required.
