Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a Warehouse Design & Automation Engineer in Saint Paul, MN to lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced warehouse automation in a large-scale manufacturing environment.

You will focus on warehouse design, robotics integration, ASRS, and material handling, driving efficiency from concept through commissioning with cross-functional collaboration. This role offers on-site work and a path to advanced automation projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in engineering or related field.
Experience designing warehouse automation and material handling solutions.
Knowledge of ASRS, conveyors, and warehouse automation technologies.
Experience with WMS/WES/WCS integration and system interfaces.

Responsibilities

Design and redesign warehouse operations, including storage strategies and capacity planning.
Develop automation solutions for put-away, picking, conveying, storage, and retrieval.
Lead projects from concept through installation, commissioning, and handover.
Define project scope, schedules, budgets, and cost estimates.
Collaborate with project managers, fabrication teams, plant personnel, and external vendors.
Evaluate and select warehouse automation technologies including ASRS, robotics, AMRs, AGVs, conveyors, vision systems, and related controls.
