Job summary

HireTalent - Staffing & Recruiting Firm is seeking a senior engineer to design and plan the inner layout of a large warehouse transformation. You will lead the layout, product flow, and handling systems to maximize efficiency.

Join a small 3-4 person team tasked with rapid timelines, ergonomics, and optimal placement of lines and parts, including setting up 1000+ new products and 5000+ part numbers. Experience with SAP S4 Hana and CAD tools is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required.
Senior-level experience in warehouse design/optimization.
Ability to set up warehouse product lines as final decision maker.
Proven CAD expertise and knowledge of SAP S4 Hana.
Familiarity with database tools (SQL, Tableau) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design and plan the inner layout of the warehouse transformation.
Coordinate setup and optimization of the new warehouse design.
Ensure optimized functioning and maximize efficiency and space utilization.
Develop warehouse design by planning layout, product flow, and handling systems.
Adopt lean concepts to streamline processes and improve flow.
Organize warehousing operations including reception, storage, order prep, and shipments per SPS.
Measure and analyze warehousing performance and implement corrective actions.
Lead projects to design and optimize warehousing processes.
Set up new product lines with 1000+ products and 5000+ part numbers.
Work in a 3-4 person team to layout and place lines and parts; consider ergonomics.
