Job summary

Wesco is hiring a Team Lead for our distribution facility in the Stafford area. The Lead Associate in Operations will assist the Supervisor, directing peers and handling receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and wire cutting.

The role requires forklift experience, 3 years of warehouse operations, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds while standing for extended periods. Training and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3 years of warehouse operations experience required.
• 1-2 years of experience as a Senior Warehouse Associate or similar.
• Forklift experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the work of other associates as assigned.
• Monitor workflow metrics and coordinate reporting to management.
• Perform daily safety walks and communicate findings to Supervisors.
• Review complex shipments and staged goods prior to shipping for quality.
• Update monthly fuel service charges and shipping cost documents.
