Job summary

White Cap is hiring immediately for a Lead Warehouse Associate in Illinois. You will coach and train junior warehouse associates, operate a forklift, and handle pickups, packing, and shipping to customers.

The role may be inside the warehouse or in the yard, with duties including receiving, counting, and recording shipment information. The position requires safety-minded individuals and offers strong benefits and on-site work.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in the warehouse area.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Spanish language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Coaches and trains junior warehouse associates on proper process and procedure.
• Safely operates a forklift to load, unload, and move merchandise.
• Picks, packs, and ships products to customers.
• Receives, counts, and records shipment information into the system.
• May work inside the warehouse or outside in the yard.
• Lifts and carries material up to 50 pounds.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Generally has 5-7 years of experience in area of responsibility.
