Job summary

White Cap is hiring immediately for a Lead Warehouse Associate in Greer, SC. You will coach junior staff, safely operate a forklift, and manage receiving, packing, and shipping while recording shipment data. This role may work indoors or in the yard and requires lifting up to 50 pounds.

We value accuracy, safety, and team collaboration; experience with WMS and RF scanners is preferred. A bilingual (Spanish/English) candidate is a plus in our diverse environment.

Qualifications

• Must have 5–7 years experience in the area of responsibility.
• Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely; certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, and material handling processes.
• Proven ability to train, coach, and support associates while promoting safety, productivity, and operational excellence.
• Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, or other computer-based warehouse tools.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to inventory accuracy, order quality, and workplace safety.
• Ability to troubleshoot operational issues, prioritize workload, and support daily warehouse activities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of construction, industrial, or building material products; bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coaches and trains junior warehouse associates on proper process and procedure.
• Safely operates a forklift to load, unload, and move merchandise.
• Picks, packs, and ships products to customers.
• Receives, counts, and records shipment information into the system.
• May work inside the warehouse or outside in the yard.
• Lifts and carries material up to 50 pounds.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Proven ability to train, coach, and support associates while promoting safety, productivity, and operational excellence
• Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory systems, RF scanners, or other computer-based warehouse tools
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to inventory accuracy, order quality, and workplace safety
• Ability to troubleshoot operational issues, prioritize workload, and support daily warehouse activities in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of construction, industrial, or building material products and familiarity with hand and power tools
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) proficiency is a plus
