Job summary

Sanofi is seeking a Visual Inspection Manager for the 2nd shift to lead hands-on operations in a regulated vaccine manufacturing environment. You will oversee safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people performance while driving continuous improvement and inspection excellence across the shift.

The role requires strong knowledge of manual and automated inspection processes, with a track record of accountability and performance optimization in a cGMP setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5 years of equivalent experience in pharmaceutical operations.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical or biologics manufacturing.
• Minimum 2 years of team leadership experience (managing direct reports).
• Strong knowledge of cGMP requirements and quality systems.
• Experience leading root cause investigations and implementing corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Follows all safety procedures and participates in safety meetings.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, FDA, and other regulatory requirements; review inspection docs.
• Lead visual inspection operations during 2nd shift and set clear team expectations.
• Drive efficiency, cost control, and process optimization; oversee staffing for volume needs.
• Coach, develop, and mentor inspectors and frontline leaders; manage recruitment and onboarding.
