Job summary

Sanofi is seeking a Visual Inspection Manager for the 2nd shift in Swiftwater, PA. This leadership role provides hands-on oversight of visual inspection operations in a regulated vaccine manufacturing environment, focused on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people performance.

The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of manual and automated inspection processes, a change-agent mindset, and a track record of driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of equivalent experience in pharmaceutical operations.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical or biologics manufacturing.
• Minimum 2 years of team leadership experience (managing direct reports).
• Strong knowledge of cGMP requirements and quality systems.
• Demonstrated ability to drive accountability and performance improvement.

Responsibilities

• Follows all safety procedures and participates in monthly safety meetings.
• Ensures compliance with cGMP, FDA, EU Annex 1, and regulatory requirements.
• Leads visual inspection operations during 2nd shift and drives accountability.
• Oversees production planning to meet throughput and quality targets; drives improvements.
• Coaches, mentors, and develops inspectors and frontline leaders.
