Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Visual Design Lead to drive the Look and Feel of our Digital Product Design across in-vehicle experiences and connected devices. You’ll collaborate with leadership and designers to codify visual standards and craft exemplar work in visual design.

You will partner with UX and engineering teams to deliver high-quality, on-brand experiences, championing clear communication and actionable feedback while shaping the future of digital automotive interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, UI/UX design, digital product design or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual design skills for digital products, including layout, typography, color theory and iconography.
• 6+ years of dedicated Visual UI/UX design for complex digital products and consumer-facing brands.

Responsibilities

• Define and codify the Look and feel of Ford's digital experiences across in-vehicle and beyond.
• Define and guide standards for visual and motion design, including guidelines for Digital Product Design.
• Collaborate with UX designers to deliver on-brand experiences to the digital space.
• Lead development of exemplar work in visual design and up-level presentation and prototyping.
• Work with engineering to ensure high-standard visual design execution and consistency.
• Participate in design reviews, providing guidance and feedback to deliver world-class products.
