Job summary

VCA North Main Street Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced Certified Veterinary Technician Supervisor to oversee clinic operations and lead a team of Veterinary Technicians and Assistants. The role emphasizes patient care, staff development, and protocol implementation.

You will collaborate with veterinarians and hospital managers to maintain high standards of care, efficiency, and staff engagement across shifts, while participating in the interview and onboarding process for new hires.

Qualifications

• Credentialed veterinary technician credentials (CVT/LVT/RVT/LVMT).
• Minimum 5+ years of clinical experience in a veterinary setting.
• proven leadership experience in a team environment.
• Strong passion for veterinary medicine and patient care.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct the flow of work on the clinical floor.
• Foster an engaging work environment and strong hospital culture.
• Collaborate with hospital management and supervisors for hospital progression.
• Assist with interview process and onboarding of new associates.
• Support educational development of technicians and competency growth.
• Conduct staff meetings and professional development sessions.
• Mentor technicians and guide clinical practice.
• Resolve conflicts professionally and humbly.
• Refine and implement clinical protocols and adherence to policy.
• Ensure policies and guidelines are followed by all technical staff.
