Job summary

BC US LLC is seeking a Veterinary Technician Supervisor to oversee the veterinary technician team and daily clinical operations. The role ensures high-quality patient care, adherence to protocols, and effective communication between staff and management.

You will mentor technicians, support veterinarians, and drive continuous process improvements. The position emphasizes leadership, staffing coordination, and compliance with welfare and SOP standards within a busy veterinary setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Associate degree preferred in veterinary tech, Animal Science, Biology or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of progressively responsible veterinary technician experience.
• ALAT or LAT certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations and workflow of the Veterinary Technician team.
• Develop staffing assignments and coordinate technician coverage for exams, procedures, surgeries, and routine care.
• Manage schedules, PTO requests, call-offs, overtime, and staffing adjustments for coverage.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address performance concerns.
