Job summary

Animal Medical Centers of Loudoun, Ashburn, VA, is seeking a dedicated Licensed Veterinary Technician to assist-lead the surgery department. You will work closely with the lead technician, follow surgical protocols, and contribute to high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include placing IV catheters, anesthesia support, patient nursing, and client education. We value teamwork, ongoing learning, and providing exceptional animal care in a dynamic hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of 2 year accredited Veterinary Technician Program and Virginia state license.
• Ability to place IV catheters, intubate, induce anesthesia, monitor under anesthesia.
• Provide nursing care and educate clients while supporting the surgery team.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead Licensed Veterinary Technician in the surgery department.
• Follow hospital surgical protocols and train other surgical technicians.
• Provide high-quality pre- and post-operative patient support.
