Job summary

CityVet is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician (VT) Lead to maintain excellent patient care and drive operational productivity. The role focuses on supporting veterinarians, delegating technical tasks, and improving front-office coordination to enhance client service.

Responsibilities include scheduling, staff training, surgical skill maintenance, and ensuring accurate case notes. Compensation is hourly and based on experience, with strong benefits for CityVet team members.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in veterinary medicine.
• Surgical experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to train and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high-quality patient care and operational productivity.
• Relieve veterinarian from routine technical work and admin detail.
• Facilitate communication from operating room to front office and client.
• Maintain QC and accuracy of VT work and records.
• Develop and supervise VT staff scheduling and rotations.
• Interview, train, and develop new Veterinary Technicians and Assistants.
• Support client service team and resolve client concerns.
• Compensation ranges from $25–$35 per hour based on skills and performance.
