The position requires an LVT credential and at least 5 years in a specialty surgery setting, with a strong emphasis on leadership, collaboration, and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a specialty veterinary Surgery Department.
• Current LVT credential required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the immediate/direct supervisor and first point of contact for the Surgery technical team, addressing day-to-day concerns, needs, workflow, and performance.
• Provide strong, visible leadership while fostering a professional, respectful, collaborative, and accountable team culture.
• Maintain an active clinical presence and support cases, anesthesia, patient care, and workflow as needed.
• Work collaboratively with surgeons and support team members to meet each surgeon's needs and standards.
• Promote open communication among team members, surgeons, and leadership; address conflicts early.
