Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician with 3+ years veterinary experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and motivational skills.
• Ability to direct, guide, and assist a group and teach others to build a well-rounded team.
• Comprehensive knowledge of veterinary procedures and hospital operations.
• Commitment to professional ethics and continuing learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct on-the-job training to develop employee skills.
• Advise employees of performance requirements and progress.
• Discuss corrective measures to improve performance and prepare appraisals.
• Provide direction for efficient workflow.
• Assist with onboarding newly hired staff.
• Assist with creating staff schedules and adjusting coverage.
