Qualifications

• Current veterinary technician credentialing.
• Strong technical skills in small animal medicine.
• Surgery and anesthesia experience.
• Dentistry and dental radiography experience preferred.
• Ability to prioritize and delegate appropriately.
• Willingness to support both patient care and team operations.
• Saturday availability as part of the rotation.

Responsibilities

• Support daily treatment floor flow.
• Help ensure doctors, technicians, assistants, appointments and surgery patients are prepared for the day.
• Assist with surgery and anesthesia support.
• Support dentistry and dental radiography.
• Perform technical nursing duties within credentialed technician scope.
• Help train, mentor, and support technicians and assistants.
• Assist with task delegation and follow-through.
• Help create fair rotation of downtime tasks and daily responsibilities.
• Support team morale through positive, steady leadership.
• Partner with hospital leadership to improve communication and workflow.
• Cross-training or assisting with front desk support when needed.
