Care Animal Hospital of Pleasant Prairie in Pleasant Prairie, WI is seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our medical team. You will deliver patient care, monitor anesthesia, perform lab work, and support surgical procedures in a fast-paced hospital.

We value collaboration, clinical excellence, and ongoing education. Eligible applicants hold AVMA-accredited program credentials and a current state license; one year of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
• Current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
• Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology and lab procedures.
• Calm and efficient in fast-paced situations.
• Strong communication and collaborative work ethic.
• One year of veterinary industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care, administer treatments, monitor anesthesia and perform lab work.
• Lead and mentor the medical team to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Educate pet owners, review medical records, and answer questions confidently.
• Contribute to a positive hospital culture through training and feedback.
