Job summary

Bulger Veterinary Hospital in Lawrence, MA is seeking an Assistant Veterinary Technician Supervisor. This full-time role combines hands-on clinical nursing with leadership duties to support the General Practice team.

The successful candidate will mentor technicians, coordinate daily workflow, and collaborate with doctors and hospital leadership to maintain a positive work environment. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of Veterinary Technician experience in General Practice or similar clinical setting.
• CVT, RVT, or LVT preferred, but not required depending on experience.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor technicians and assistants to support daily hospital operations.
• Partner with Clinical Supervisor to manage staffing and workflow.
• Provide hands-on nursing care and assist veterinarians with procedures.
• Monitor anesthesia and assist with diagnostics and client communication.
