Job summary

VCA North Main Street Veterinary Clinic in Brocton, MA is seeking an experienced Certified Veterinary Technician Supervisor to oversee clinic operations and lead our team of Veterinary Technicians and Assistants. You will direct floor workflow and help maintain our high hospital standards.

The ideal candidate has CVT/LVMT/RVT credentials, at least five years of clinical experience, and proven leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician CVT/LVT/RVT/LVMT.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience as a veterinary technician.
• Proven team leadership experience and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Directing work flow on the floor.
• Mentor and supervise technicians and assistants.
• Work with hospital management and supervisory teams to progress the hospital.
• Participate in interview process and onboarding of new associates.
• Assist in education and development of technicians and their skills.
• Conduct staff meetings and provide opportunities for hands-on experience.
• Mentor technicians and resolve conflicts professionally.
• Refine and implement protocols and ensure policy adherence.
