Job summary

Humble Robotics is seeking a hands-on leader to guide systems engineering for our autonomous hauler platform. You will own system-level requirements and architecture, translating product and safety goals into clear specifications that drive design reviews and end-to-end validation.

You will collaborate with HW, SW/Autonomy, and Safety teams, lead cross-functional reviews, and ensure traceability from concept to deployment while shaping the road map for a vehicle program that aims to redefine

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, or Computer Engineering.
• 8+ years of systems engineering on vehicles or robots.
• Owned vehicle-level E/E architecture on a program reaching DV, PV, SOP or fleet deployment.
• Wrote testable requirements and ran requirement-based V&V across HW, SW and test teams.
• ISO 26262 work: HARA, safety goals, ASIL decomposition.

Responsibilities

• Own systems engineering across the product and vehicle subsystems.
• Architect vehicle subsystems and evaluate cross-domain trade-offs.
• Decompose vehicle-level requirements to subsystem and component levels.
• Collaborate with Mechanical Engineers to align on mechanical requirements.
• Lead design reviews, verification, and validation with HW, SW/Autonomy, Functional Safety, and Test teams.
• Work with Functional Safety on HARA, safety goals, and ASIL-driven decompositions; ensure traceability to tests.
• Interface with SW/Autonomy on interfaces, timing, compute, and networking budgets.
• Lead root-cause analysis for cross-domain issues and feed learnings back into requirements and architecture.
