Job summary

Humble Robotics is seeking an infrastructure engineer to design, build, and scale systems that connect our autonomous trucks to our platform. You will own data offload pipelines for massive sensor data and integrate our software with compute and sensors on the vehicles.

As a broad generalist, you’ll work across the stack to accelerate iteration, improve reliability, security, and performance, and help every team move fast while maintaining operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and extend non-trivial code in production robotics/AV codebase.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and managing deployments.
• Strong OS, networking, and security fundamentals including Linux administration and performance tuning.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Build data collection networking and infrastructure to offload large volumes of sensor data from our vehicles into the training platform.
• Collaborate with onboard and hardware teams to integrate software with compute, sensor, and navigation systems on autonomous vehicles.
• Translate workflows into reliable infrastructure to accelerate software and model deployment across teams.
• Maintain high levels of operational excellence and create efficient workflows across the fleet.
• Help the team move fast, safely and smoothly.
