Qualifications

• 10 years of experience developing and launching restraints components.
• Ability to self-direct while managing ambiguity.
• Understanding of FE analysis technique for design optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of restraints for Rivian vehicles.
• Collaborate with studio designers to achieve design themes.
• Develop and execute Product Validation plans and coordinate activities.

Skills

CAD design & manufacturing process experience

Strong understanding of engineering first principles

Strong working knowledge of FMVSS, ECE, NCAP

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Curiosity and high learning agility

Education

Bachelors of Science in an engineering discipline

Masters degree and significant experience
