Job summary

General Motors in Warren, Michigan, seeks a Hardware Integration Lead to provide end-to-end technical leadership for hardware integration and validation across vehicle programs. You will ensure interfaces and validation plans are defined early and executed rigorously to protect timing, quality, and robustness.

You will mentor DREs, approve validation plans, oversee calibration verification, and deliver consolidated reports to TS teams while safeguarding program milestones and launch quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in vehicle engineering development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Significant experience in automotive hardware development, integration, and validation.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end hardware integration and validation leadership across vehicle programs.
• Mentor DREs in planning and execution activities and approve validation plans.
• Lead validation strategies for re-tests and issues requiring expedited solutions.
• Govern vehicle-level integration and validation processes via standardized checkpoints.
