Job summary

General Motors in Warren, MI seeks a Vehicle Systems Engineer - Service Subsystem Engineer (SSE) for ADAS and Chassis. You’ll own programming and diagnostic data for subsystems, collaborating with product development and service teams to enable accurate diagnostics and programming.

You will validate serviceability specifications, release content for Techline Connect, and drive cross-functional efforts to ensure quality and timely delivery across GM vehicles globally. Hybrid work is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Software Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with vehicle electrical architecture standards and vehicle serial data networks.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Single point owner for service requirements, DTC assignments, and parametric data.
• Develop, validate, and release diagnostic data and programming content.
• Collaborate with SID, VSE, and Product Development for serviceability understanding.
• Support tooling, validation, and deployment of diagnostics across programs.
