Job summary

General Motors in Warren, MI is hiring a Program Validation & Safety Engineer (PVSE) to drive validated, regulatory compliant vehicle programs within the Global Product Validation Team. You will manage DVUL, LADV, and COSIM plans, ensuring readiness and timely sign-off of PVCL across full-size truck programs.

You will lead a cross-functional team, manage hardware requirements, and navigate governance to mitigate risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant technical experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication for cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in Jira, Slack, and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute validation milestones from DVUL to PVCL.
• Lead hardware and build activities, including budget and approvals.
• Drive validation leadership, governance, and risk management.
• Coordinate program content changes and regulatory/compliance kick-offs.
• Identify risks and drive process improvements to ensure on-time program validation.
