Rentix Solutions in Richland, Mississippi, seeks an experienced service manager to lead daily operations of our vacuum truck refurbishment facility, overseeing service, paint, and fabrication. This hands-on role drives quality builds while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Candidates bring deep vacuum truck knowledge, strong leadership, and the ability to manage multiple projects and teams, with a track record in heavy equipment repair and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on knowledge of vacuum trucks and hydraulic systems.
• 5+ years in a service/manufacturing/heavy equipment shop environment.
• Experience with heavy duty truck repair and fleet maintenance.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and repair manuals.
• CDL a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the service, paint, and fabrication departments.
• Manage workflow, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet production timelines.
• Ensure refurbishment projects meet quality, safety, and customer standards.
• Lead, mentor, and develop shop personnel, fostering accountability and teamwork.
• Coordinate with sales, leadership, and parts to prioritize jobs and meet deadlines.
• Maintain shop efficiency by identifying process improvements and reducing downtime.
• Enforce safety policies and maintain OSHA compliance.
