Job summary

Rentix Solutions is seeking a Service Technician skilled in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vacuum trucks, tankers, and related heavy equipment. The role demands mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and safe, efficient work practices.

Experience with diesel engines and hydraulic/electrical/pneumatic systems is essential, with preference for vacuum truck repair. CDL preferred; tools to 1½ inches supplied by the company. We offer competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• One year of mechanical experience preferred.
• Experience as a diesel, heavy truck, or heavy equipment mechanic.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment and read technical schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Vacuum truck repair experience is a plus; training available.
• CDL credentials preferred; candidates without CDL will be helped.
• Must provide standard hand tools up to 1½ inches; specialty tools provided.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vacuum trucks, tankers, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Service diesel engines, pumps, and vacuum systems.
• Complete work orders and process parts requests.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
