Job summary

VACUUM TRUCK RENTAL LLC in Richland, MS is seeking an experienced service manager to lead the service, paint, and fabrication departments. You will oversee daily operations, schedule workloads, and drive efficiency while ensuring safety and high-quality refurbishment of vacuum trucks.

The ideal candidate has a hands-on background with vacuum trucks, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate across multiple teams to meet production timelines. CDL is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in service, manufacturing, or heavy equipment shop environments.
• Strong knowledge of vacuum trucks, hydraulic systems and pumps.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and repair manuals.
• Leadership experience and ability to mentor teams.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• CDL is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of service, paint, and fabrication departments.
• Manage workflow, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet timelines.
• Ensure refurbishment projects meet quality, safety, and customer standards.
• Lead and mentor shop personnel to foster accountability and teamwork.
• Coordinate with sales, leadership, and parts to prioritize jobs.
• Maintain shop efficiency and identify process improvements to reduce downtime.
• Enforce safety policies and OSHA compliance; inspect completed work.
