Job summary

Quility Insurance seeks a lead UX/UI designer for a temporary, full-time role to cover 4+ months. You'll start with UI and design system work, then lead user research and optimize UX workflows with AI. You’ll join a UX leader and a designer, shaping the product and how the team works after you depart.

You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and design, owning end-to-end outcomes, and ensuring high-quality, scalable design in a fast-paced, regulated SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years designing digital products with a strong portfolio.
• Strong UI craft in Figma using components and auto layout.
• Hands-on research and synthesis experience.
• Fast ramp-up joining mid-project teams.
• Experience in complex B2B or enterprise dashboards.
• Fluent use of AI tools in real workflow and human oversight.
• Owns deliverables, meets deadlines, flags risks with solutions.
• Clear, proactive communication with teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain momentum by picking up in-flight features and delivering high-fidelity designs in Figma.
• Work within and improve the design system and document patterns.
• Write specs for engineering handoffs and support questions during build.
• Plan and run user research including interviews and usability tests.
• Frame problems with product and engineering, balancing impact and feasibility.
• Leverage AI as a partner in research, prototyping, and documentation.
• Propose process improvements and test new tool features.
• Share techniques with the team through pairing and short sessions.
