Job summary

RELX is seeking a Senior UX Researcher I to lead a team’s understanding of user behaviours, needs and motivations and to guide the UX Research strategy for a product line. The role requires strong expertise in research methodologies and close collaboration with UX Designers and engineers.

You will mentor junior researchers, apply multiple UX research techniques, and translate findings into actionable design decisions with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Requires 6–8 years of UX research experience in the U.S.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in design-related field preferred
• Experience mentoring junior researchers is a plus

Responsibilities

• Gathers, evaluates and understands customer use cases
• Feeds user feedback into the design process with UX Designers
• Mentors junior researchers and shares findings with stakeholders
• Leads the user-centered research process and defines research strategy
• Tests design work with users and uses data to guide decisions
