Job summary

The Davey Tree Surgery Company seeks a Foreman/Foreperson for utility line clearance in Gulfport, MS. You will supervise crews, coordinate line trimming and tree work for electric utilities, and ensure safe completion of tasks.

Requirements include a high school diploma (preferred), valid driver's license (CDL preferred), and relevant climbing or line-clearance experience. We provide equipment, safety gear, and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CDL Class A license preferred but not required.
• Line clearance certification or related experience valued.
• ISA Tree Worker certification or willingness to obtain is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides crew supervision and line clearing and tree trimming services for major electric utility providers.
• Pruning treetops, removing damaged trees, and clearing branches from wires and roofs.
• Directs crew members and equipment, plans and executes assigned work.
• Maintains and operates tools and equipment: hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts.
