Job summary

R.H. White is seeking a Foreman for Utility Site Work in Auburn, MA to coordinate crews installing underground utilities including water, sewer, and drainage, and to manage trenching and site grading per plans and specs.

The role requires strong leadership, experience with earthwork, and the ability to read construction drawings. We offer industry-standard safety practices and opportunities for growth through our Training Center and development programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• 5 years' experience in site work, including excavation and earthwork, underground utilities (water, sewer, drainage systems), roadway and pavement construction, and site development
• Ability to lead and motivate work crews with precision and safety awareness
• Experience with MS Office, Procore, and GPS technologies (Trimble, Topcon)
• OSHA-10 Certification and a DOT Medical Card, valid U.S. driver’s license, and pass drug/background checks

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities of a work crew engaged in installing underground utilities
• Read and apply construction drawings to site work and grading
• Lead and motivate crews and ensure safety and quality
• Operate within standards of accuracy and handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 100 pounds
