Job summary

Itron, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Architect to design, document, and deliver end-to-end software solutions for utility digital transformation initiatives.

You will align technology with customer business objectives, lead architecture discussions, and guide implementations across product, engineering, and operations teams. Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience designing, implementing, or architecting complex enterprise software solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Strong foundation in software architecture, systems integration, and cloud technologies.
• Experience translating business requirements into actionable solution designs.
• Ability to build authentic relationships with customers and technical teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Experience creating architecture documentation and implementation plans.
• Experience working in Agile, cross-functional environments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers to understand goals, environments, and requirements through workshops.
• Translate needs into scalable, innovative solution recommendations aligned with objectives.
• Design end-to-end software solutions that integrate with client systems and ecosystems.
• Lead requirements gathering, process analysis, and solution documentation for enterprise implementations.
• Architect and support API-based integrations and data environments.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations to deliver value.
• Develop architecture diagrams, technical specs, and implementation artifacts.
• Contribute to standards, governance, and best practices for scalable architectures.
