Job summary

Fairfield County Ohio is seeking a supervisor for Utilities Department construction projects. You will oversee water and wastewater line work, inspect connections, and coordinate plan compliance with county specs.

Requirements include a Class A CDL with tanker/air brake endorsements, a valid Ohio license, and at least 1 year of Collection/Distribution experience. Strong blueprint reading and safety discipline are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and understand project plans.
• Knowledge of safety practices for water and wastewater construction.
• Experience operating or coordinating heavy equipment a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction of water and sanitary sewer facilities.
• Inspect and coordinate water/ sewer connections and underground pipes.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and plant procedures.
• Record materials and monitor monthly progress.
• Coordinate final restoration and respond to customer service needs.
• Assist supervisor with inspections, repairs and new installations.
