Job summary

ConvenientMD LLC in Farmington, Maine is seeking a Lead Physician Associate/Assistant (PA) for urgent care on a per diem basis. The role emphasizes clinical leadership, mentorship of new-grad providers, and delivering high-quality patient care in a collaborative urgent care setting.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree and PA certification, a DEA license with no restrictions, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with PA certification.
• DEA license with no restrictions.
• BLS certification required (AHA/Red Cross).
• Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care preferred.
• Strong leadership skills to mentor staff and lead clinic operations.
• Excellent team player with collaborative mindset.

• Technically proficient with MS Office and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care including exams, histories, and preventive care.
• Lead clinical staff and mentor new-grad providers and other staff.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and manage care plans.
• Document records accurately in EMR and ensure compliance with policies.
• Collaborate with the clinic team to coordinate patient dispositions and transfers.
