Job summary

MainStreet Family Urgent Care in Valdosta, GA is hiring a Physician Assistant for a full-time, high-volume urgent care role. You will lead a small team, work across urgent care, primary care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine, with strong support during onboarding and training.

New graduates are welcome. You will be supported with a pediatric urgent care course and ongoing mentorship to develop clinical decision-making and leadership skills in a busy clinic.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant Board Certification required
• MSN, or higher education required (New graduate friendly!)
• Are you DOT certified or willing to become DOT certified (we cover the cost of the certification)?
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and treating patients within PA scope
• Performing minor procedures and suturing
• Splinting and orthopedic evaluations/management
• Reviewing x-rays (over-read by Radiologist)
• General Dermatology and eye care
• General EKG interpretations and emergency management
• General GYN expertise
• Treating children of all ages
• Occupational medicine and telemedicine
