Job summary

MainStreet Family Care in Athens, GA is seeking a fast, friendly full-time Physician Assistant to join our busy urgent care team. You will deliver patient-focused, high-volume care across all ages and lead a small medical assistant team.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant Board Certification required.
• MSN, or higher education required.
• Are you DOT certified or willing to become DOT certified (we cover the cost of the certification)?
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and treating cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues.
• Minor procedures (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.).
• Suturing.
• Splinting.
• General Orthopedic evaluations/management.
• Review of x-rays (to be over-read by Radiologist, too).
• General Dermatology.
• General eye problems.
• General EKG interpretations.
• Emergency management skills.
• General GYN expertise.
• Treating children of all ages.
• Occupational medicine.
• Telemedicine.
