You will supervise operators, laborers, and skilled workers, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to project specs. You will coordinate daily activities, manage equipment and materials, and mentor team members while maintaining clear communication with project managers and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Pipe Crew Foreman in underground utility construction.
• In-depth knowledge of underground utility installation techniques (water, sewer, drainage).
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills; ability to motivate a crew.
• Commitment to safety; enforce safety protocols and procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and at multiple job sites.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the pipe crew, including operators and laborers.
• Enforce safety procedures and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate daily work activities to meet deadlines and milestones.
• Oversee installation of underground utilities to meet standards.
• Manage equipment operation and report issues to maintenance.
• Control materials and inventory; track and report usage.
• Train and mentor crew members to develop skills.
• Maintain communication with project managers and subcontractors.
• Document daily logs, equipment usage, safety records and reports.
• Identify and address operational challenges during installation.
